Naya Kangi Peak Climbing

Trip Overview

Naya Kanga Peak (5,844m), formerly known as Ganja La Chuli, is located in the Langtang region, which boasts the world's most ideal alpine environment. The Naya Kanga Peak climbing journey is linked to the Langtang Valley Trekking and passes through the Langtang National Park's oak and rhododendron woodland. The peak provides spectacular views of the local geology and terrain, as well as views of Lantang Lirung (7246m/23772ft), Dorje Lakpa (6990m/22933ft), Langtang II (6571m/21558ft), Shishapangma (8027m/26335ft), the Ganesh Himal range, and many others.

The exciting hike towards the Naya Kanga will provide you with the proper amount of adventure and thrill. The route to the summit is beyond description. The north-eastern ridge above the line on snow and ice is regarded as the best and most adventurous route to the top of Naya Kanga Peak.

You will have the opportunity to experience the pure Tamang lifestyle and culture as you go through the many little communities through valleys of Langtang and every traveler has been enchanted by Ganja la Chuli's atmosphere.

After nearly seven hours of driving, we arrive in Syabrubesi and relax in this little and picturesque village. Overnight at Local Lodge.

After breakfast, we will start our trek and we will gradually rise to Lama Hotel by walking alongside the Langtang River. We'll pass through small Tamang settlements with lovely stone buildings and have our first glimpse of the Himalayas. The infrequent prayer flags floating in the breeze against the rural backdrop look lovely and provide excellent photographic opportunities. We will have our overnight at local lodge at Lama Hotel.

After breakfast, we will start our walk and will be entering the Langtang valley today. The initial half of the day is a moderate ascent that grows steeper as we climb higher. We take a stroll through a forested area as well as cultural communities. After checking in at the Ghoda Tabela check post, we enter the Langtang National Park. We can see the Langtang valley widening as we approach it as walk gently forward at our pace. We arrive in a small settlement Langtang and spend the rest of the day relaxing. We'll stay an extra day in Kyanjin Gompa, but we won't be doing anything. We embark on an incredible walk to Tserko Ri, which is 5,000m/16404ft above sea level. Our day begins before the sun rises to catch a glimpse of the sunrise from the summit. Our day is made even better by breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks and magnificent dawn above the Himalayas.

We then travel back to Kyanjin village, where we spend the rest of the day experiencing the spiritual grandeur of the monastery and the surrounding scenery. Overnight at Local Lodge.

We begin our trek towards Ganja La Base Camp today. After breakfast, we depart for the trek, crossing the Langtang River and beginning an uphill trek through rhododendron forest to Ganja La Base Camp, where we will spend the night. We tour the area once we arrive and try to acclimate to the thinner oxygen layer in the atmosphere. We will set up the camp and overnight at Tented Camp.

Today we are trekking to the high camp which will begin walking at a leisurely pace toward our destination for the day. We're taking it easy and going to high camp for the day. When we get to the high camp, we take our time to explore and acclimate to the high-altitude environment. The views of magnificent mountains keep us enthralled. We will set up camp in the camp and overnight at the Tented camp.

We'll begin our ascent early in the morning, before daybreak. The stars visible in the night sky encourage us to climb to the top and enjoy the spectacular sights. We will trek for a long time before reaching the summit after a tough climb from the north side.

With 360 degrees of mountains, this is a fantastic photo opportunity and a moment to be proud of oneself for completing it. The entire Langtang Lirung Massif, the glaciers, Tserko Ri (4984m/16351ft), Yala peak (5500m/18044ft), Shishapangma (8013m/26289ft), and Dorje Lakpa (6966m/22854) can all be seen from the top. Once we spend enough time up here, we will make our way down to the base camp and spend the night at the Tented camp.

Today is extra day for the any unfavourable weather or unforeseen circumstances.

Today's journey will be quite short; we'll descend till we reach a suspension bridge and cross the Langtang River. After that, we'll climb for a long over lovely terrain before arriving at Kyangin Gompa. As we follow the trail descending to Kyanjin Gompa, we cross Chhona Lake. The magnificent mountains will accompany you on your journey. We then descend more from there until we reach Langtang village for an overnight stay at local lodge.

We're going back down to Syabru village today after spending a few days in the Langtang valley, Kyanjing, and Naya Kanga Peak. We will be exposed to the unique cultural lifestyle of the people who live in the region as well as beautiful natural surroundings with breathtaking vistas. Overnight at local lodge at Syabru Beshi.
