Trip Overview

Itenerary

On your arrival, our team will welcome you at Kathmandu International Airport and you will be taken to a hotel for short rest and refreshment. After that, we will be taken to Thamel (the main tourist center in Kathmandu) where you can shop for your gear, exchange your money and shop for other things that are important for your trip. Then you will be taken to our office for a trip briefing. Then you will spend the night at the hotel.

If any delay today, the briefing session will be done next day.

After breakfast, we will go for sightseeing around Kathmandu which includes Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa.

Pashupatinath Temple: It is a Hindu temple devoted to Lord Shiva based on the banks of the Bagmati River. Many Hindu devotees around the visit this temple. On the day of Shivratri, a big fair is held here. It offers different variety of temple designs like Pagoda style, Dome style, Shikhara style, and so on.

Boudhanath Stupa: It is one of the biggest stupas in the world built in the shape of a mandala resembling Mahayana Philosophy. It is erected with four pairs of eyes in four directions. It is surrounded by many mandala and statue shops where you can shop mandalas and statues of Buddhas of the desired size. You can hear Buddhist chants and can have the smell of juniper smoke. After the tour, you will return to the hotel and prepare yourself for next day. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we shall go to the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan Internation airport in the morning. Then we shall take a morning flight to Lukla.  After flying above the beautiful white and green mountain we shall reach Tenzing-Hillary Airpot at Lukla. Upon our arrival, we shall do some packing and arrangement and start our trek through the beautiful villages of Lukla until we reach Phakding. We will have rest and spend the night at the local lodge in Phakding.

After spending the night at Phakding, we will start our trek to Namche Bazaar. On the way to Namche through some small ups and downs and a lot of crossings over Dudh Koshi. We will have spectacular views of Mount Tamser (6,608m/21679ft) from Bengkar village. After walking and crossing some bridges we will enter Sagarmatha National Park after checking our trekking permit. Then we continue our trek until we pass through the beautiful riverbed. After reaching the Hillary Suspension Bridge, we will climb the hill towards Namche. We will stop at Chautara to enjoy the views of Kwangde Peak, Kusum Kangaroo, Lhotse, Everest, and more peaks. After a short walk, from here we will reach Namche Bazaar, a colorful village that is the main gateway to the Khumbu area. Overnight at local lodge at Namche.

From Pheriche, we retrace our steps to  Tengboche. Now we will retain through the hillside covered by rhododendron and juniper timber. After crossing the bridge over the Dudh Koshi River, our path follows the Dudh Koshi gorge descending hastily through the pine forests on a way to Sansa. We will take an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our adventurous mountain journey. After we arrive in Kathmandu, we will transfer you to the hotel where you can take a relaxation or do some memento purchasing around the area. Overnight at the Hotel.

Today you will go for the tour around century long history of markets, trading spots, arts, building and culture. You will be exploring the local market of Asan, Indrachowk and Newroad through which you will explore the historical and cultural identity of the city. You will also get to visit to the temple of living goddess “Kumari” during your visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square. You get to see the architectural prominence of Kathmandu during the visit to Durbar Square premises. After the tour you will return to the hotel through foot or famous three wheeled bicycle, Rickshaw. Overnight at hotel.

Our representatives will pick you up at your hotel and take you to Tribhuvan International Airport 3 hours before the scheduled flight and your adventurous journey in the Himalayas ends today.
