Every year, thousands of Hindu and Buddhist devotees/ pilgrims come to worship Mount Kailash and lake as these places hold a religious value. Mansarovar Lake is located just below the Mt. Bypassing Mount Kailash on foot is considered by pilgrims from various regions to be a sacred ritual practice that will bring them good luck. Hindus and Buddhists both take the walk in a clockwise direction while, the Jain and Bon perform a counterclockwise circumambulation around the peak. The serene landscape surrounding this beautiful snowcapped summit is breathtaking and heavenly.
