The Bagmati river flowing besides the temple is religiously and spiritually important for Hindus where cremation of dead body takes place. Pashupatinath temple holds the most of prominence during Shivaratri – Shiva’s birthday and thousands of pilgrims gather in the night to celebrate the day. Boudhanath Stupa: It is one of the biggest Stupas in terms of size and height in Nepal and located in east of Kathmandu. The site is peaceful and culturally full with intermixed influence of Tibetan and Sherpa roots. Stupa built in the trading route between Kathmandu and Tibet has four pairs of eyes directed towards all four directions. It is believed to be influenced by Mahayana Buddhist philosophy. After short tour of city we return to hotel and prepare for the trek. Overnight will be spent at hotel.

Arrive Pokhara and enjoy the rest of the day exploring lakeside and surrounding.
Before breakfast, we transfer you to the airport for an early morning flight to Jomsom. This breathtaking mountain flight takes you to Jomsom in about 20 minutes. As you leave Pokhara valley and approach the mountain, the Annapurna on the right side and Dhaulagiri range on the left is amazing. The flight, view of the mountain peaks, landing at the airport located in the bank of Kali Gandaki river beneath the majestic Nilgiri mountain awestruck you. You enjoy your breakfast and the prepare for the ride to Kagbeni. Cycling along the Kali Gandaki River bank up to Kagbeni is a steady and awesome ride mostly on flat trail. You take an easy ride today and stop in Kagbeni for overnight stay. You can explore the rare wonder of Kagbeni town, age-old monastery, and surrounding area for the rest of the day. Overnight local lodge.
After breakfast, start the day with a ride in uphill trail. You ride uphill for most of the part. The ride to Muktinath past Jhong village where you stop for an exploration of monastery. You continue further to Muktinath after Lunch. Once in Muktinath, you have time to explore the holy Temple and the surrounding. Stay overnight at the local lodge.
Muktinath is final destination of the trip and from here you start to descend all the way to Tukuche passing Kagbeni, Eklebhatti, Jomsom, and Marpha villages. The stretch of 32 kilometers is really scenic. Marpha village is beautiful where you can see apple orchard. Apple brandy is famous from this village. The ride continues further down on flat trail sometime in the river bed or along the river bed to Tukuche village. Tukuche village is an ethnic settlement of Thakali people with some incredible culture. Overnight local lodge.
The ride today to Tatopani stretches about 36 kilometers mostly on downhill trail. During the ride today you can enjoy some incredible Himalayan views of Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Annapurna and other; runs past a beautiful waterfall called Rupse Chhahara; often penetrate into pine forest, and several settlements and villages. The ride further ahead from RupseChhahara becomes even more thrilling as the trail winds down steeply towards Tatopani. Once you reach Tatopani bouncing and panting, you will have a chance to go for soothing natural hot spring bath located in the bank of Kali Gandaki river. Overnight local lodge.
The ride of some 22 kilometers until Beni is in the jeep track. This is the end of the mountain biking trip in the Muktinath Jomsom region. From here, drive back to Pokhara by a private vehicle that will be waiting for you. Arrive Pokhara and enjoy the rest of the day. You can spend leisurely time to find some soothing massage, chilled beer or relaxing stroll around lake side.
