It is located 100 kilometers northeast of Kathmandu, at a height of 3600 feet above sea level. 

The Bungee Bridge of the Bhote Koshi River is the sole privately-owned bridge. According to Swiss requirements, it was built exclusively for bungee jumping with a 4x safety factor and a loading factor of 41,500 kg (4.5 tons). It is staffed and operated by the industry's most experienced jump masters.
